Toshiba P55W-C5316-4K review – A Top Notch Convertable Laptop

Toshiba P55W-C5316-4K review

To begin, let’s talk about the laptop’s most exciting feature: its 4K display (which is 3840×2160 pixels, by the way).

It’s not only because of the high resolution; it’s also because it’s an IPS screen, which promises superior color reproduction and no concerns about viewing angles.

The fantastic panel (which, again, at this price range, shouldn’t be this nice) comes in a 15.6-inch grey convertible package. Check price

That means you may fold the screen into various shapes, such as a standup screen for your kitchen (in portrait or landscape mode) or a fun larger tablet.

Toshiba P55W-C5316-4K is equipped with an Intel Core i7-6500U, one of the company’s fastest ultra-low voltage processors.

This implies that, in addition to great performance, you’ll outperform the competition in terms of battery life and heat, both of which are critical for this kind of machine.

This i7 is a dual-core CPU with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz that can be increased to 3.1 GHz thanks to Intel’s Turbo Boost technology.

Even the most demanding activities, such as editing or running creative tools, will perform well, and we’re not even talking about online surfing and office work.

To seal the deal in terms of speed, the Toshiba P55W-C5316-4K has 12 GB of DDR3L SDRAM (1600 MHz).

A figure that is considerably above normal, particularly for portable computers. Multitasking won’t be an issue, so open as many Chrome tabs as you like.

In the absence of a separate graphics card, the P55W-C5316-4K depends on its integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 to handle all graphics-intensive tasks.

For the most part, this implies gaming. Modern 3D blockbusters can run on lower settings, but more focused games like The Sims 4 will run considerably faster.

In summary, we can conclude that this computer is capable of some gaming; just remember to keep the settings modest.

The most essential factor is the resolution: gaming in a full 4K setup is a no-no; even the most sophisticated GPUs can’t handle it properly, so stick to lesser resolutions like 1080p or even 720p.

With the 3-Cell battery included in the P55W-C5316-4K, Toshiba promises a battery life of up to 6 hours.

That strikes the sweet spot for us in terms of performance and battery life, as we discussed previously.

The actual time may vary greatly based on what you’re doing, but it’s still a good place to start.

The connection options on the Toshiba P55W-C5316-4Kin review are excellent.

One USB 2.0 port and two USB 3.0 ports (for a total of three) are included in the expanded version, as well as an HDMI connection for external monitors.

The SD card reader and audio combo connector are the only other features. There is no optical drive, but it is unlikely that anybody will miss it by now.

A 1 TB hard disc is available for storage (5400 RPM). While the performance isn’t great, the 1 TB of storage capacity is unbeatable, making it a big gain for anybody wanting to store a lot of data.

Design:

Toshiba Convertible laptops have a similar profile: they are portable computers with competent specifications, but they are primarily intended for personal usage and simplicity of use.

It’s unusual to come across a hybrid laptop that’s also a powerhouse.

That’s most likely what we’re dealing with here. This is a review of the Toshiba P55W-C5316-4K, a 15.6-inch laptop that combines the power of a high-end laptop with the features of the widely growing convertibles.

The most exciting aspect of this laptop is that it has a 4K display (3840×2160 pixels, to be precise). It comes in a grey convertible form with a 15.6-inch display.

The Toshiba P55W-C5316-4K is equipped with an Intel Core i7-6500U, one of the company’s fastest ultra-low voltage processors.

This i7 is a dual-core processor with a base speed of 2.5 GHz and a boost speed of 3.1 GHz.

Display:

The Satellite Radius 15 P55W-C5316-4K features a 15-inch screen, which is the most popular among laptops.

This gadget offers a lot of storage capacity for games and is extremely easy to use for business.

At the same time, the laptop’s dimensions have become larger, making it difficult to transport. The image quality is excellent.

The laptop’s screen resolution is outstanding at 4096×3072.

This model also has a touchscreen, which makes interacting with the laptop more simple and quicker.

Processor:

Satellite Radius 15 P55W-C5316-4K has a dual-core Intel Core i7 (6th Gen) 6500U processor with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz.

Because the CPU has two cores, you may expect greater performance.

It is preferable to get a laptop with a Quad-Core CPU, such as the Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro 7-592G-788W, for optimal performance.

The memory capacity of 12 GB is normal, and it will easily operate any video editing program.

This notebook’s graphics hardware is capable of streaming video and even playing Blu-ray movies.

Modern games, on the other hand, will only be playable at the lowest graphical settings.

Battery life:

With the 3-Cell battery included in the P55W-C5316-4K, Toshiba promises a battery life of up to 6 hours.

That strikes the sweet spot for us in terms of performance and battery life, as we discussed previously.

Connectivity and storage:

In a nutshell, the Toshiba P55W-C5316-4Kin review offers excellent connection choices. One USB 2.0 port and two USB 3.0 ports (for a total of three) are included in the expanded version, as well as an HDMI connection for external monitors.

Final Verdict:

We were left with two major issues in our Toshiba P55W-C5316-4K evaluation. The first was the sheer specs: the high-end components and that massive, eye-popping display.

The second is that all of this is packaged in a “flexible” container that will provide more experiences than a standard laptop.

You’re safe if you’re just interested in the power. You’ll also obtain a hybrid as a result of it. If you’re interested in this vehicle because of its convertible characteristics, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

There will always be a cheaper alternative, but you won’t find a 4K laptop that bends anyplace else.
