Design:

The Dell G5 Gaming usually suffers the same with its keyboard, but the Asus ROG Zephyrus is quite better than both – it includes superior typing quality and extra buttons.
Display:
The HP Omen 15t has a Full HD IPS display with 144Hz Nvidia G-Sync, a great specification for a mid-range gaming machine – it will make sure silky-smooth motion in single-player titles and eSports games.
However, the Quality levels are mediocre. The brightness of 333 nits is good for indoor use and fine for outside, but the black level of 0.36 nits is quite high. That leaves darker areas lacking depth, and it delivers a contrast ratio of 925:1.
That is low, and it means colors miss some vibrancy and nuance when compared to other panels.
None of those color figures are specifically problematic, but they usually leave the Omen panel looking washed-out and underwhelming compared to some rivals.

The Omen laptop will play best single-player games regularly at 60fps or beyond, and it will run eSports titles at the speeds required by the 144Hz display.
The big issue comes from the RTX 2060. It is usually included in pricier notebooks – but in the UK, the Dell with that GPU price is approximately £1000, and Acer’s Nitro 5 is just £999 if a chunky 17in a laptop is suitable.
Dell includes an Intel CPU, but it hit 98fps in Wolfenstein with Ray-Tracing and scores 36,071 in the 3D Mark Sky Diver, 5,000 points beyond the HP.
The RTX 2060 is not always so reasonable. In the United States, the same Dell G5 price $1,399. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is usually sold with AMD CPUs, but its RTX 2060 models are expensive.
AMD’s Ryzen 7 4800H processor is unique, especially at this cost. Its Geekbench, five multi-core score of 7,151, is approximately 1,000 points beyond the famous Intel Core i7-10750H, and its PC Mark 10 score of 5,471 is great.
AMD’s chip is almost always quicker than Intel’s competitors, which means that the Omen delivers good performance in daily tasks alongside more ability to manage tougher workloads.
Speaker and Battery Life:
The battery is Average, too. The video playback benchmark (720p looped at 120 nits) lasts for just over 5 hours, and it runs for 4 hours whenever it was working and managed just two hours of gaming.
That latter figure is marginally greater than the Dell, but the G5 is great in all other situations, and the Asus lasted for 10 hours. The Omen 15 is not awful, but it will not manage a full day without a charge.
